The Jamaican Football Federation will announce today [ok, has announced at this writing] the return of René Simões as the technical director of the men's and women's national teams. Here is an article in Mexico's Medio Tiempo website, which lists Simões' assistants. The selection had been leaked on some other websites weeks ago, so it's definitely not a surprise.
Simões has had some managerial success since leaving the national team in 2000, including a silver medal with Brazil's women's team at the 2004 Olympics and a successful promotion campaign with Coritiba in the Brazilian second division. I wish him will with his return, but the second time around is rarely as good as the first.
