One of the second-round qualifiers kicks off tomorrow, so here's a preview of...
Honduras vs. Puerto Rico
As you can tell, the Dominican Republic's protest against the 0-1 result in Puerto Rico was turned down, so it's the boricuas who are headed to San Pedro Sula for the qualifier. It's a big mismatch as most of the Puerto Rican lineup will be drawn from the USL's Puerto Rico Islanders, while Honduras can boast a squad of stars who play all over the world. It's said that this is perhaps Honduras' strongest side ever; I personally liked the 2002 squad but then again that team didn't have David Suazo in his prime. Honduras has a bad habit of crumbling under the pressure, especially at home, but they have more than enough talent to advance to the semifinal stage.
Suazo is a monster. If he is in form, he may just lead Honduras to the 2010 World Cup.
