Devastating news for Trinidad & Tobago as Dwight Yorke has been given a four-match ban by FIFA for that red card he received after the conclusion of the El Salvador-Trinidad & Tobago qualifier last month. He will be out for the rest of the first half of the Hexagonal, including T&T's two home qualifiers against Honduras and Costa Rica.
I'm not sure if Yorke can appeal the suspension to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), but if he can he almost certainly will. T&T can't afford for Yorke to be gone for that long, which doesn't speak well for the 2014 qualifying cycle.
